The twelve cleanest non-organic foods are asparagus,
avocados, bananas, broccoli, cauliflower, corn (sweet) (but avoid
genetically modified), kiwi, mangos, onion, papaya, pineapples and
peas (sweet). The twelve riskiest foods are apples, bell peppers,
celery, cherries, imported grapes, nectarines, peaches, pears,
potatoes, red raspberries, spinach/lettuce, and strawberries. So you
might consider buying only organic strawberries, as they are, I
believe, the worst offender on the list, but don’t worry about the
avocados.
